(00:00): Hey Joe Hunt here. Lead pastor of Compass North Church. Welcome to the minute to win it. I was reading in Matthew 14 of the story we call the feeding of the 5,000 where Jesus took a little boy's lunch of five loaves and two fish, multiplied it miraculously and fed 5,000 people. I thought to myself, what was that boy thinking when he was the only one there evidently with a lunch that could be handed off? I mean he could have sold it. There was a lot of people hungry. He could've made money, he could have aided himself. I'm sure he was hungry, but instead he gave it away for free. Kind of illogical. (00:32): Here's what I found. God often won't do the impossible until we do the impractical. God's looking for us to step in a way that maybe puts us out of our comfort zone to walk into his super natural power. Happened in a man named Naaman's life who had a rare skin disease called leprosy, and he came to get a healing and he was told to go to the dirtiest river in the region and dip himself seven times. He almost didn't want to do it because it seems so illogical, but God's looking for us to take that step of faith. (01:02): Here's what I realized. Miracles don't happen through heroics, they happen through humility. The Bible says that God's strength is made perfect in our weakness. Why don't you just surrender to whatever God's asking you to do right now and see if he won't open up a miracle in your life?
